Vote!

without comments

Beyond the decision of ‘to vote or not to vote’, the main cause of headache for me is who to vote for? I’m not interested in generics but in ideology.

In the absence of PTI (whose educational reforms policy attracts me most), I think I would rather go with PML-N for their restoration of independent Judiciary. Although I sympathize with PPP but I have little faith in them since they have distanced themselves from socialism which I really don’t believe is their real face, in the first place.

Conversations and releases

without comments

There are ways to start a conversation. One is to take a stance and start a conversation from that point on. Another is being more flexible, acceptable way; of understanding other’s point of view as well. Rigidity kills a conversation like nothing else. And you never learn anything new. Most people in our society take a conversation as simple as over a cricket match like a battle. Overpowering an opposing view is not always winning and more importantly gaining.

On a side note, I feel sad at not being able to download 45th episode of Naruto Shippuden. Dattebayo is strange in that way, but we gave them that power which they can exploit at their will. I hope they come back soon. I’m going to miss Naruto Shippuden in the mean time.

planning waghera

without comments

Few people have their planning meter broken. Literally. Otherwise, they won’t suggest starting a business in passive mode to gauge its potential in the first year; whether or not it is feasible to run it fully. I mean, come on, do some market research and then come up with a business plan.

Money’s outdated?

without comments

Yasir[enlightened]announced

It’s out and passing-fad. Find another reason..

Now, this was the outcome of a long business-cum-casual-meeting with a friend after a long time, at Sanjannagar Institute (SIPA). He works at the Philosophy Department of SIPA and has just came from holidays with his family in Austria. We had a long chit chat, discussed this that and everything else that comes in between. It was nice to see him recharged after a long-time. Same had been with me and Aamer, who spent a full week of leisure with our families in Islamabad. Sometimes, misunderstanding cost you a great fortune. Same has been with this friend, but when I joined him yesterday, the air was positive.

Oh well, back to the topic. What’s that keeps you going? 99% percent times, the answer is Money, in one way or another. But there’s a con with all these pros associated with money matters. The more you earn, the more you spend. To balance the equation. It’s nature’s law. You can not save too much for you. With the income, your expenses increases as well. Before you were living in a rented house, now you bought your own. You have to pay installments for your car, you living style has changed, so is everything else. EVen the food you eat. Still, it’s hand to mouth. If I look into my own life, the equation’s still the same. I’m still what I used to be a few years ago, when I was just earning 7k salary. Now, that my shipments monthly bill is about 90k alone, I’m still at square zero. Expenditures have increased but life’s the same. Whatever comes, goes away. And you’re not content with situation. You try to get more, lose more. Get more, lose more. End result: frustration. You lose life, you lose sleep. You lose everything. Family, friends, sleep, conscience, everything. I still admirably remember the days I used to play games with my brothers. You just lose your ownself in the struggle.

Aamer says, “this theory doesn’t apply to you and me”. I think it does, to an extent. I, sometimes, just can’t agree with him. He’s too blunt. He says, we’re not after money, we’re after respect, a status in the society. And that doesn’t come without money. Way of saying things differently. Words don’t make a difference to me, anymore.

We’re just not motivated enough do things without thinking of money involved. There’s no community spirit; just for the sake of helping people. We need to build a sense of responsbility among ourselves. Just little above money and related matters. Money doesn’t provide satisfaction anymore. Giving away does. Money, no more is a solution for me. I can live a life without it

I always wondered why people get angry to Allah sometimes. They just can’t stand a shock or a test.

Send – Verify

with 4 comments

Goddamnit! If I’m bad at verifying these confirmation codes then why the hell Yahoo! asks for it every time I try to send an email. Yes try – I actually lost half a dozen emails just by entering wrong verification codes. I admit that I’d not been loyal to Yahoo! but Yahoo! people should care for visually-impaired-slash-abnormal-slash-pathetic people like me. *wink wink* And I boost “I’m techie!”

Honestly speaking, would any sane person like to decipher this weird lingo?

Dont Fret Go on

with 3 comments

Three things to self:

  1. Don’t be bitter. No matter what comes your way, no matter how many hardships you have to face, don’t become bitter. Becoming bitter means you’re fretting and accept your defeat. Don’t fret. This shall pass too.
  2. Our older generation doesn’t seem to be very considerate of us, in all respects. Okay, I made a mistake but he’s staring me like he wants to spank me hard.
  3. You think that someone’s totally retarded and behaves like a kid. He says you’re a jerk. One all.
